The thought for this Haiku poem came from World War II and the movie The Boy in the Striped Pajamas. It’s based on the Jews point of view. I hope you enjoy it.

The Nazis start rolling in
The Nazis start rolling in
The concentration camps are built
They think that the Jews are a sin
The pain that fills the lives of the Jews
The night of the broken glass has begun
The fuhrer keeps giving the orders to kill
The jews end at the point of a gun
‘Help’! they say ‘for we are human we don’t need to be harmed
And yet no one will come
Tears roll down the cheeks of the jews
The jews fade and don’t know what they have become

Description
This ballad is mainly based on the event called ‘The night of the broken glass’ and what happened to the Jews during the gassing in World War II. I was shocked that they didn't get help until the first Jew entered another country.
